Quantum@C3 Is Featured on the FURG Institutional Website
Date: 30/09/2026
Quantum@C3, an initiative affiliated with the Center for Computational Sciences at the Federal University of Rio Grande, was featured on the University institutional website.
The creation and development of the group were presented. Recent activities conducted by researchers and students in quantum computing and Quantum Machine Learning were also reported.
Participation in IEEE Quantum Week 2026, held in Toronto, Canada, was included among the activities presented. During the event, a study on unsupervised quantum kernels for one class fault detection in industrial time series was presented. The application of quantum machine learning methods to industrial time series was addressed in the study.
Quantum@C3 was also represented at the 1st Brazilian Congress on Quantum Sciences and Technologies, held in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro. Research developed by the group was presented during the event. Through these participations, the activities conducted by Quantum@C3 are being disseminated, and exchanges with researchers in the field are being expanded.
Additional visibility for the initiative has been provided through the publication on the FURG institutional website. The research conducted at FURG in quantum computing has also been presented to a broader academic audience.
